The waterfront at Ponkapoag offers swimming and boating to those renting cabins or tent sites.
- Open with lifeguards from the last of week of June through Labor Day weekend from 10:00 to 6:00, 7 days a week
- No swimming is allowed when there is no lifeguard on duty.
- Canoes and kayaks along with paddles/oars and required life jackets can be borrowed during the same hours
We are also able to welcome a limited number of non-renters on a day-to-day basis, including the use of the outhouses. Day Users of the waterfront will be charged a fee of $5 per person/$12 per family in order to swim and use the facilities.
Expecting to be a frequent visitor? New this year, we are also offering a limited number of Day Use Season Passes. Each season pass is registered to one person over the age of 21, and allows them to bring a number of guests up to the pass limit under the passholders supervision for unlimited days during the Summer season.
- Any additional guests above the season pass limit will be charged ordinary Day Use rate
- No more than one vehicle per season pass allowed at the camp

- Call or text the Camp Manager (781-961-7007) to confirm availability and for the gate combination the morning of attendance. No calls prior to 8:30 AM please.
- Follow applicable Camp rules and regulations
- those that violate rules are at risk of being barred from the Ponkapoag waterfront or, in the case of a season pass, having their pass revoked
