SAVE THE DATE! AMC 150 Celebration
at Ponkapoag Camp Saturday, June 13

To celebrate its 150th birthday, the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) is having a pennant relay from Virginia to Maine – and the pennant will be coming to AMC Ponkapoag Camp on June 13. We have a whole day of fun planned, and we hope you’ll join us! Cabins and tent sites are still available to rent for the weekend.
Would you like to see where the pennant has been? Take a look at the pennant tracker:
Directions To Camp
To get to camp, type “AMC Ponkapoag Camp” into your GPS. The gate is on Randolph Street in Randolph, MA right across from the Canton Equestrian Center. There will be volunteers at the gate to direct you. Parking at camp is limited, but there is additional parking nearby.
Parking
Folks who are staying at camp for the weekend will have parking spaces connected to their cabin or tent site. If you are coming just for the day, volunteer greeters will meet you at the gate and let you know where the closest parking is. If a member of your party is unable to walk from the parking area to camp, you will be able to drop them off before parking.
- Day Use Parking Lot: At camp, limited spaces, steep grade.
- Fisherman’s Beach: Entrance is near camp gate. About 1 mile walk to camp on a dirt road.
